ACCOMODATION ELITE HOTEL IDEON will be the "home of the highwheelers". A single room (incl breakfast) is SEK750 (€70) per night. Double room (incl breakfast) is SEK850 (€80). TRAVELLING WITH BIKES Nearest airport is Copenhagen in Denmark (CPH). Riders from far away tempted to come but with logistic problem (travelling with their bikes) will without any cost be able to use a Standard Highwheels bike for the event (SHW TOURER or RACER 48-56"). We will also arrange all transports (to and from the different races) for riders coming to Sweden without own vehicle.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
To make SWEDEN 3 DAYS as safe and fair as possible we have rules/regulations. Our applied rules are based on the UCI rules with useful input from Cycling Australia´s ”Penny Farthing Technical Regulation” (draft May 2019). We have tried to use the same language/tone as in those documents.
2.2 Equipment The bicycle must have a direct drive front wheel where the cranks are directly attached to the hub (no type of gear, free wheel or chain is permitted). One full rotation of the front wheel must be equate to one full rotation of the cranks. The front wheel must have a minimum diameter of 44” (110cm). The minimum weight of a bike must be at least 10kg Brakes will only be permitted in Race 1 (all brakes must be disabled in stage 2-4). Cleats (spd, etc) and straps are permitted. All bikes will be carefully checked before the race by the commissaire. Bikes which not seems to be solid enough will not be permitted in any of the races. 2.3 Helmets All riders are required to wear a helmet meeting international standards. 3.0 Race A pre-race meeting is held ahead of every race. This meeting is mandatory to all participants. |
